Adult and Career  Education is located at 2855 Colonial Boulevard  in Fort Myers.  We provide a quality education to the citizens of Lee County sixteen years of age and above with special emphasis placed on those students pursuing a High School Diploma and English as a Second Language.  

The Adult and Career Education program also offers a program for enrichment classes which offer a variety of  evening classes in computer, foreign language, health and fitness and art to name a few.  Both adults and students over the age of 16 are welcome to take these classes for enrichment and leisure. 

 

Effective July 1, 2011

Academic courses designed for students who do not have a high school diploma or who wish to improve English Language skills will be assessed a State mandated tuition.

Students will pay $30.00 per session (must be paid with cash or money order)  if they:

·    Attended one of the School District of Lee County Adult Education Programs (GED/ESOL) for a minimum of 12 hours during the 2010-2011 school year

THE ONLY REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR RETURNING STUDENTS IS A PHOTO ID

OR

·    Are able to produce the required documentation that the student lived for a minimum of 12 months in the state of Florida.  click here for acceptable documentation   click here for information in Spanish

Students will pay $120.00 per session (must be paid with cash or money order)  if they are unable to provide the required documents to show they have lived in the state of Florida for a minimum of 12 months.
