The School District’s Adult Education Program is responsible for administering the GED (General Educational Development) Test in Lee County.

Preparing for the GED…
Classes are available at no charge through the Adult Education Program. See the
individual school schedules to the left to find a class located near you.
Eligibility and registration…
Any person who is at least 18 years of age and who has left high
school without graduating is eligible to take the GED Test. Individuals
who are 16 or 17, contact Adult Education (239-939-6310) for specific information
and requirements.
You must register in person, prior to the test date, with a
Drivers' License or Government-issued Identification Card and the testing fee of $65.00 ($55.00 If you are enrolled in a Lee County Adult
Education GED Program).
You may register for
the GED Test from 2:00 - 3:30 pm (Monday through Thursday)
at the Adult Education Office in the Lee County Public Education Center,
East
Entrance.
